The first 10 celebrities include McFly’s Tom Fletcher, 36, presenter AJ Odudu, 33, and comedian Robert Webb, 48.
The Great British Bake Off’s John Whaite, 33, CBBC presenter Rhys Stephenson and Dragons’ Den star, Sara Davies, 37, are also taking part.
Soap actress Katie McGlynn, 28, and Dan Walker, 44, were announced together, with Tilly Ramsay, 19, and Greg Wise, 55, also joining.
EastEnders stars Nina Wadia, 52, and Rose Ayling-Ellis, 26, have also signed up to showcase their moves on the dance floor.
Loose Women star Judi Love, 41, was announced as the 14th celebrity to take taking part, just minutes after the news broke about Adam.
Strictly Come Dancing is scheduled to return later this year on BBC One.
