“It’s so nice and light, it’s lovely,” Sue remarked. “Bright – it’s a gorgeous room, I love it.”
“More rooms than you need,” the presenter said. “So, one as a dressing room, one as a den maybe?”
“Plenty of scope,” Tony replied. “I’m a bit lost for words at the moment – it’s that good, I’m impressed, I’ve got the great warm feeling.”
Outside, there was a driveway and garage as well as a sloping garden which looked at the rolling hills.
The property was on the market for £525,000 and Jules said: “It is over budget. However, we didn’t bring you here to dash your hopes, the owners know where you are and are really happy to have a conversation. It may cost all of your £500,000 but it’s doable.”
“Sounds like a sleepless night!” Tony joked. “It’s a lot to think about, it’s a lot to take in. Food for thought definitely.”
The second property Jules took Sue and Tony to was located in the village of Uley.
“The interesting thing about this one,” the presenter explained. “Is that is has been renovated recently and never lived in – and it’s unfurnished so you can get a real sense of the amount of space it offers you, arranged over three floors.”
